In Memoriam, Loris Buccola
It is with a sense of deep sadness that I have to let you know (in Loris' own words) that early this morning he "entered into the bliss of eternity". I have just returned from visiting him and Jane and saying my goodbyes. As far as we know he passed peacefully and did not suffer. I believe he approached his death in the same way that he approached living with ALS - he did it his way and with dignity. I grieve the loss of a great friend and brother, but I rejoice that his journey is now over. As a memorial I would like to do what I did for Jack Hall- to compile a book of AAPC folk's memories of Loris. Please send them to me and I will get them in a book form and give that to Jane. (Marilyn really appreciated that for Jack).
When I have details of the service I will send that out. Loris has asked "Please, no flowers. Donations could be made to ALSA of Oregon or Oregon State Library Talking Books Program.
Please keep Jane, Jennie, Norman, Johanna and the rest of their family in your prayers.
