Solve One Annoyance Before The Next Holidays
Before I get to this Monday’s Clutter Challenge I’d like to take a moment to say thank you for being a part of my life and this community. As you may have noticed I love what I do and I’m honored that you invite me into your life to share ideas with you for simplifying and organizing your life. This New Year is going to bring with it many new and exiting opportunities for all of us. I wish you a year filled with lots of love and laughter (and a lot less stress and fewer piles of clutter) This week’s Clutter Challenge should you choose to accept it is to fix something that did not go smoothly during the holidays BEFORE the next holiday hits! Many of us had a bump (or major crisis) to overcome this holiday season. Whether you hosted or not there was a lot that went well but there was probably something that did not. So take a moment now to pinpoint what that was and fix it. You may have lost necessary ingredients in an exploding pantry, been unable to find lids for storage containers, lost directions to the celebration house, needed to sew a button on a skirt, or failed to make a timeline for cooking and something got over/underdone or left out, or something else large or small. Or was it a broken air bed so guests slept on the floor, or maybe too few linens or a black dress with a broken zipper or maybe simply not having a single location to write down notes and ideas….what was it for you??? The holidays are stressful enough without adding any more annoyances; so take a moment to solve the one thing that drove you nuts. This will set you up for a more relaxing holiday a year from now.
