Hang a tote bag on the handle of the door you use most often, right near the leaving station. In the tote place the items you need to take with you: bills to mail, videos to return, library books to give back, directions to the place you are driving, play tickets, and so on. Then as you leave grab the tote and you’ll have everything you need. Ensure success of this new plan by always bringing the tote back into the house and hanging it up so it can be filled for the next day.
