What will it feel like to finally take control? You can make this year be THE YEAR! The year you finally get a meal plan together, finally clear the paper pile (forever) and finally tackle your never ending to do list and over scheduled days.

I bet you've been thinking about this year after year. In fact you may have resolved to make 2006 or 2007 THE YEAR. But then you got busy, life was hectic, you may have been overwhelmed and it never got done, leaving you feeling guilty and helpless.

The good news is that you did not fail, you simply didn't have the supportive jump start you needed. Why go at it alone? There is no reason to reinvent the wheel when you can simply join me for a 60 minute class by phone and get it done, yes I said get it done once and for all.

Imagine being able to cross it off your list in the first 90 days of the New Year!

It sounds amazing, doesn't it? Almost too good to be true. But it's not, I'll guide you through the class, but you'll be taking action on the other end of the phone. Reworking your to do list, creating a simple meal plan and shredding the papers you no longer need (yes I'll tell you which ones they are.)

That's right! Before the spring you'll have accomplished more than most people will all year!

You'll be:

Using your master shopping list, pulling items from your pantry and whipping up meals from your simple meal plan!
You'll have cleared the counter tops of paper piles and have a system from incoming paper that really works!
Plus you'll have a schedule you can manage, a no fail plan for getting it all done, like laundry, errands and so much more!
Now is the time to act, will this be YOUR YEAR? I sure hope so.

As always if you have any questions at all, please e-mail Jamie@JamieNovak.com with 'class by phone' in the subject line or call 1-866-294-9900.

Wishing you a clutter-free 2008,

Jamie

PS If you don't do this now, then when will you? Is 2008 going to be the year that you FINALLY go from overwhelmed to overjoyed . . . or is it just going to be one more year that you are hoping you'll find the time to make it happen?

PPS In case you are not already familiar with my products and services let me assure you of my 100% money back no questions asked guarantee. Join the classes today, you have nothing to lose but the clutter :)

Ready! Set! File!
tax return tips for the rest of us...

For this week’s clutter challenge we’re going to take the stress out of filing your tax return by gathering all the important documents. No more racing to the post office on April 15th! This year you’ll have peace of mind knowing your paperwork is in order.

Grab a manila folder, label it TAXES 2007 then tuck the folder in your kitchen, because chances are that’s where you are when you have the paperwork in your hand. If you put the folder in your office you’ll probably put the important paper down to take to the office later and then it’s gone.

Now that you have the file labeled and conveniently located fill the folder with the papers as you find them. Here is a short checklist of the papers and information you may need:

W-2 (wage and tax statement)
1099-MISC (miscellaneous income)
K-1 (beneficiary share of income)
1099-B sale of stocks
1099-DIV stock dividends or distributions
1099-INT interest income like from a saving account
1099-R pension annuities IRA retirement statement
SSA-1099 Social security benefits
1098 mortgage interest statement
1098-E student loans interest statement
1098-T tuition payment statement

Social security numbers
Childcare costs
Alimony paid or received
Business income
Rental property information
Job expenses
Medical or dental expenses
Moving expenses
Charitable donations

With all your papers in one place you can make an appointment with your tax professional or make time to do it yourself. If you opt to do your own tax return you may find it helpful to schedule three small sessions where you can start the job, but not have the pressure of finishing it, breaking up the large task will make it feel more manageable.

That’s it for this week’s challenge, you’ll feel better with you tax papers organized and you’ll feel even better once you’ve filed. Get started today. Until next Monday have a clutter-free week, Jamie
