Plasticware: How Much Do You Need?

If you are like me then you've got a stash of mismatched plastic ware in your kitchen. Does yours fall out when you open the cabinet? Or get jammed when you try to open the drawer? Maybe you have six lids for every one container! And are any of yours stained with red sauce?

For this week's challenge we are going to solve the plastic ware challenge. Ready?

First you'll want to set aside about twenty minutes so you can pull out all your plastic ware.

Toss the junky ones, too stained, too scratched, too icky you know the ones.

Then match as many lids to bottoms as you can.

Next see my suggested list of how much to keep on hand below. You'll nest those best you can.

Store any overstock in a box clearly labeled in case you need it you can shop at home.

*Suggested list of sizes to keep on hand*

ROUND
Two ˛¡ C or 4 oz.
Two 4 C or 32 oz.
Two 6 C or 48 oz.
Two 1 Á† C or 14 oz.

SQUARE

Three 5 ˛— C or 42 oz.
Three 13 C or 104 oz.

RECTANGLE

ThatÁøs it youÁøre done! The next time you need to store leftovers doing so will be a snap!

Until next Monday have a clutter-free week, Jamie
