Dear Equine Friends
What a glorious summer is unfolding! I feel blessed to be experiencing many wonderful workshops already this season.
A few weekends ago six wonderful women gathered here in Basalt, Colorado for a fabulous three-day weekend workshop. The horses I use are becoming more confident in their role as teachers. The herd is a wonderful mix of quarter horse, thoroughbred, and Paso Fino. The participants were deeply touched by the wisdom of each horse, as they learned about boundaries, respect, joy, communion and the essence of their life path. Thank you ladies for your willingness to grow and expand through the Wisdom of the Horse! What clients experience at Horse Wisdom workshops: A heightened experience of the senses (hearing, smell, sight, touch, etc). A profound reconnection with the peace, silence and rhythm of nature. An increase of vitality and energy in their body and spirit. A reconnection to their passion, values and true essence. A deepening relationship with their horse as they practice the tools they learned. An opening in their hearts (especially when working with Moon). A visceral experience of energy moving through their legs, grounding their whole body. An understanding of the subtle boundaries between two sentient beings and how respecting those boundaries creates more intimacy. Pure joy and communion through connecting with the spirit of the horse. Tools for expanding intuition Thank you to all of the wonderful people who have participated thus far in the Wisdom of the Horse programs! I am excited to and blessed to be facilitating this work. It is a life long dream come true. The Stress of Transitions I would love to share the progress of Moon, my Buckskin Quarter Horse, who came to me in March of this year. Moon has been through a lot of stress in his transition. The stress was evident in his weight loss and diminishing good health. Now, through finding the prefect home and providing the right supplements, Moon has regain good health and is stepping fully into his role as a teacher. Please see this link for the progression (it may take a few minutes to download because of the number of pictures on the page). Moon's Transition
