Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday time off and are getting back in the swing of things. I loved my visit to the beach where my husband, our dogs (our kids) and I enjoyed the other kind of white Christmas. To see a few photos, you can go to this site.
It was at the beach that I was also inspired to write today's new article, The Joy Factory. It is about attracting the essence of all you desire. Enjoy!
As a result of the survey I did last year, I have decided to offer a variety of programs and information in a way that is affordable to more people. In that vein, I will be offering some low cost teleclasses this year. The first one starts next week and it is actually a multi-media program on How to Attract More Clients and Sal~es. The Joy Factory

Are you ready for more joy in your life in 2007? Not as a resolution, but as a way of being. Joy is the essence of what most of us want – underneath those dollars, new clients, that beach house, the relationship with your soul mate, and all the other things you want is the desire for more joy and inner peace.
The crazy thing is that getting those things won’t necessarily bring you long-lasting joy. If our joy is dependent on things, then we will always want more things and never be satisfied with where we are. There is nothing wrong with wanting more things. But having your happiness be dependent on their acquisition is a trap that can lead to a very stressful life.
So what is the answer? The simple answer is to be happy now. To be happy no matter how many clients you have, how much is stashed in the bank, whether or not you are in relationship with a significant other.
Why? Because when you can enjoy your life no matter what, then you have got a really great life AND it is from that place that you attract more and more wonderful things, opportunities and people.
I realize that while this is a simple concept, it is often easier said than done. And being happy 100% of the time isn’t natural. We all have ups and downs and that is okay and it is important to feel whatever is going on for you in the present. It is also important not to stay stuck there for too long. If you are stuck there, it means you are adding a lot of story about why things aren’t great. That story is what you need to let go of.
If you are having a hard time being happy in this moment, accept where you are and what you are feeling. When you are ready, visualize it. See yourself in your mind being totally happy. Feel the joy in every cell of your body. Hold that vision for at least 90 seconds. Do it every day.
What we focus on is what we get more of, so if you want more joy, happiness, peace, contentment, confidence, start seeing yourself that way and feeling it in your body.
Do it often, do it because it feels good. Notice what starts to happen in your life – who and what you start to attract in. Pretty soon, you won’t need to visualize it anymore because it will be real. You will have created your own Joy Factory – one that starts from within.
