Welcome back.. Lo and behold, I've been quoted again! Some of you are following my "media attraction" game I've been playing. I've been visualizing being "quoted" in magazines without sending out a press kit or "trying" in the traditional ways.. Yes, I WILL teach a class on "effortless attraction" very soon.. September/October, most likely. I must tell you, it is sooo much fun to be a magnet for good stuff. I'll teach you how, too, if you want. Wouldn't you love to know how to attract what you want?

Your Higher/Centered Self....
Recently, I sent a note to all of my clients about bringing their "Higher/Centered Self" to our coaching calls. After I wrote this note, I thought about how great it would be to bring our "higher/centered" selves to ALL conversations we have, ALL of the time. How great would it be to walk around totally centered, in this "higher self" state? That is what I really want for my clients. By practicing being this way, at least once a week during our coaching call, I know they will begin to be their "higher/centered" selves outside of our calls, too.
I'd like for YOU to practice being your "higher self" more frequently, too. Before you have a chat with your kids, spouse, friends, co-workers, etc., try to get into a "higher/centered self state" using the tips below...Read on and eavesdrop on a note I sent to my clients this week...

Visualize this...
You are sitting outside on a clear, breezy evening or day. The air is still and the whole world seems calm. You are in a cozy hammock or rocking chair outside on a beautiful porch with fireflies flickering around...It is virtually silent, except for the peaceful crickets nearby...You feel calm. There is a sense of balance in your life. Your hectic life is suspended for a while, as you sit outside. Nothing matters except you, your comfy hammock and all of the nature around you...
Next to you, on the porch, is a trusted friend. This buddy is a fantastic listener. She/he asks you questions and you have a chat about your life... Things begin to seem clear and simple. Life, as discussed on the porch, begins to make sense. You are able to see a perspective on your life you rarely see during other times...
You begin to notice the colors of the flowers nearby. You had no idea the roses were such a beautiful shade of red. You also notice the sound of the street lights. They hum..."Why haven't I heard that before?", you thought.. In addition, the wood floors of your porch make a pleasant creaking sound every time you stand up to go refill your lemonade glass. You begin to notice, see and hear so many new discoveries around you. Were all of those things there before or are you simply noticing them for the first time now?
Have you ever had this experience of chatting with a friend, during the still hours of the day while swinging in a hammock or sitting outside with very little distractions? Ever noticed how many things you never noticed before? It is great, right?
THIS is how I want our coaching sessions to be...
Peaceful, focused, relaxed, impactful, centering.....
You have 2 ways to approach our call:
Knowing you have a centered, peaceful, wise person ready to listen and focus on YOU waiting outside on the porch, you could.....
1. Bolt outside of your front door, racing outside to the porch after finishing up some of your work inside the house...You'd leap into the hammock, your mind still running a mile a minute while talking...it would take you some time to relax into the whole peaceful porch scene right? How long would it take before you started to notice the crickets? Would you hear the creaking sound of the wood floors as you race outside? What about those roses? Could you smell the faint scent in the air as you sat down?
OPTION TWO..
2. Knowing you are meeting your wise friend : ) outside, you take a few minutes inside the house to get centered. You finish up your chores and sit quietly for a few minutes with a glass of water. You take a deep breath and let go of all of your stress. You think about what you'd like to discuss with your friend, knowing she will deeply listen...It is a rare opportunity to be fully heard, so you prepare for the encounter with anticipation and peace. Next, you notice the clock. It is time for your friend to arrive. After only 5 minutes of sitting in silence, sipping your water, you feel calm and ready to graciously greet your friend. So, you step outside on the porch, where you find her faithfully waiting, sitting on the porch steps, with a smile. As you walk outside, you notice the scent of roses and gardenias from your garden. The crickets are buzzing and your senses are fully alive and active. You notice things.
OK, so how would YOU like to approach your coaching session? That is the question. Can you see that scenario 2 would set the scene for a peaceful chat right from the get go?
I want you to be ready to "listen to your life" when we have a coaching call. As your coach, I am trained to do just that...listen to your life. I'd like to listen to your HIGHER/CENTERED SELF, though...Your SURFACE/LOWER SELF is what most of us walk around with all day, but I'd like to call out your HIGHER/CENTERED SELF for our coaching calls...Your Higher Self has all of the answers. It is aware. It notices things. It can hear the faintest whisper of a message or clue. It knows what you want to be "when you grow up". It knows everything about you...
Your Lower Self is "noisy." It is rushed. It is living in the past or the future, but not in the moment. It does not notice the nuances or details around. It cannot. It is too busy being distracted by stress, complications, work, etc. It needs to vent a lot. It is NOT your soul speaking...It is the surface part of you...
I'd like to invite your HIGHER/CENTERED Self to our coaching calls. I'll be sitting outside, on the porch, with my centered self, too, ready to listen to the faintest clues you bring me...I want YOU to listen, too. What a powerful and enlightening conversation we will have...
Yes, I realize many of you have trouble putting yourself in a centered state due to your hectic, busy lives. That's why you hired a coach, right?...To help you become less hectic...Even if our coaching call is the only time all week you get to be your higher/centered/peaceful self, I want you to go for it.. Most people NEVER get to be their higher self during a week...It is good for all of us to take time out to be this way at least once a week, ideally all of the time, though.. But, let's start with once a week.
Here is HOW to bring your Higher/Centered Self to the call. I personally do many of these things before my coaching day begins (and several times throughout the day)...I intend to be even more focused on being this way, though...I am really committed to bringing my Higher Self to each call knowing I will be meeting up with YOUR higher self:
1. Stop whatever you are doing at least 5 minutes before our call. Do not race to the call. Be totally silent for 5 minutes. Do some breathing exercises. Close your eyes. Light a candle and stare at it. Eat a banana for 5 minutes and notice how it tastes, smells, feels, where it came from etc. Do a meditative eating exercise (ask me about this). Get into a peaceful state.
2. Focus on the intention for the call. What would you like to see happen? I personally say "let the highest good be done on this call" as a little mantra before each coaching session. It centers me and focuses my work so that the best possible outcome for you happens. Maybe your line could be "I am centered and peaceful and intend for my higher self to show up for my coaching call"...
3. Make sure you eat or have some water before the call. BE HYDRATED. Your brain and body neeeeeeeds water. A dehydrated person cannot function as well. Have some liquid (water), my friend, as a ritual before our call...
4. Eliminate ALL distractions. Close your door. Turn OFF your computer. Let your staff know you are busy, etc. Create the peaceful, simple, porch space somehow...
5. Be on time. Your friend is faithfully waiting on the porch. She is ready to listen to you and focus on your ideal life. How lucky are you to have such intensely focused attention? Why keep her waiting? (Most of you are great about being on time...just wanted to remind you.)
The BEST coaching I do is with someone's HIGHER self. When the client's higher self and my higher self meet up for a call, serious magic happens. If I have to fight off their LOWER self, we do not get as much accomplished...I'd like to see you get the most out of coaching.. So, please remember all of this and put it into practice...

How did you like eavesdropping? Fun, eh? You know, most of the coaching I do is listening to "clues" a client brings me. I listen for the faintest messages about their desires, wants, ideal job, etc. The clues are everywhere. YOU can listen to your life, too, though. The ONLY way to make soulful changes is to listen to what your heart realllllllly wants. You must pay attention to all of the "clues" life brings you...This requires a ton of listening. Try to put yourself in a "higher/centered state" this week before chatting with a friend, or simply hanging out alone...See what happens!

Lifework/Try This:
This week, practice being your "higher/centered self" at least once. Set up time to meet up with a friend or colleague and go through the 5 minute ritual of centering yourself, before the meeting. Then, say to yourself, "I intend for my higher/centered self to come out during my time with *Jackie* (your friend)." See how your meeting goes as a result!

Coaching Offer/Single Session:
Have you ever wanted to consult with a coach before making a big decision to be certain it will be a good one for you? Would an unbiased opinion be helpful? What if you could develop a strategy or game plan to guide you?
There are loads of situations where it would be smart to consult with a coach. If you are faced with making a job transition, developing a new idea or simply stuck in a rut, in need of brainstorming ideas, want to increase your sales quickly, if you are a budding coach in need of some expert advice, or desiring more clarity about life, up for a promotion or in need of help to close a sale or land a job, etc., it might be good to chat with a someone trained to listen to you on many levels beneath your surface words...
I offer intro/sample sessions and consistently hear feedback about how impacted people are by only one call. Many of my former clients request single session calls, when faced with making a decision or to "check in" and be certain they are on track in life.
As a former client, non-client, never spoken with me before person, or friend of a friend of a newsletter reader etc., you are invited to sign up for a SINGLE SESSION COACHING CONSULT, if you would like some coaching advice but know you do not want to commit to ongoing coaching or do not want to wait for an open spot in my practice...I love problem solving, brainstorming & strategy development and find these sessions very stimulating and fun. Very much so..
Cost:
*$100 for 30 minute lazer session (plenty of time if you are prepared and focused)
*$150 for 45 minutes -50 minutes (to flush out ideas a bit more)
Simply email me and we will pick a time for the phone call, usually within 24 hours of your request. Payable by CC or check.
**If you decide to continue coaching, you may apply this fee to your first month of coaching.
Yes, I am still conducting a couple of free sample sessions each month in consideration for ongoing coaching. I'll have 1-2 openings in September for ongoing clients, most likely.
