The Pull of Desire
The pull of desire has always, before this been met in one way maybe two but the choices were vast innumerable and mostly ignored out of habit or the closed forms of thought running in familiar channels to inevitable ends. Desire can be met with laughter! How has this been missed all these decades? Oh, the missed opportunities of rolling with it until it chortles no more. How sweet the tones of each desire, so wracked by the mirth of seeing itself in action spending itself, and leaving as a smothered giggle. Or desire can be met with chasing! in a grand game of hide and seek by following its trail to the underground beginnings where the jewels of its satisfaction lie dormant in the dark dreaming of daylight awaiting rescue hoping for redemption. Desire can be met with joy! as a signpost a message from its own fulfillment asking for a widening of vision a loving embrace of both lack and the fullness of completion together creating the One: That which has never fallen short of wholeness and perfection, never needed anything, and never will.
