Oprah and Eckhart Team Up
With a Free 10 Week Course
On Eckhart's book "A New Earth"
As many of you already know, Eckhart Tolle was the person whose strong presence had such a profound effect on my life, back in 2002. Since then Eckhart hasn't been teaching much, and when he does teach it tends to be pretty expensive and the crowds tend to be very large. Now, bless her heart, the media queen herself, Oprah Winfrey is allying her resources with Eckhart's call to awaken and together they are presenting a free online class that will be a chapter by chapter walk-through of Eckhart's newest book "A New Earth". Eckhart and Oprah will appear live online on Oprah's website on Monday nights starting on March 3rd, at 9 pm Pacific Time USA. If you miss any of these presentations, you will be able to go back and listen to them online on Oprah's web site any time you like. There are also discussion boards online and a downloadable workbook to use to get the most out of the course. This, as far as I know is a pioneering presentation for Oprah, using technology in a new and bigger way to offer something like this to a huge amount of people all at once. Last time I checked there were over 390,000 people signed up already. Her tech support folks have set it up so that any amount of people can participate is what I'm hearing. What a phenomenon she is!!! To lend her media capabilities and huge audience to Eckhart for this use seems such a wonderful gift to the world. Thank you Oprah!! So if you would like to be a part of this phenomenon--if you are not already signed up--you have to join Oprah's book club to do so. You sign up for her book club and in the process you check the checkbox that says that you want Tolle's "A New Earth", pick a username and password, and you are in.
